About the webinar

Lungworm infections in cats are often overlooked due to diagnostic challenges. However, these infections can lead to significant health problems. This talk will explore the epidemiology of lungworms, including the cunning alternative strategies these parasites use to infect their hosts. We will then examine the complexities of diagnosing lungworm infections and highlight the importance of customised control strategies. The ultimate goal is to improve the management and prevention of these neglected infections, particularly in Australia, to ensure better health outcomes for cats.
