About this Lecture
About this Lecture
In this lecture, participants will learn about what causes dogs stress in the veterinary setting. Participants will increase their confidence in interpreting dog body language and subtle signals to avoid those cases which ‘bite out of the blue.’ The discussion will cover the physiological consequences of stress and why we should care as veterinary professionals! Finally, participants will learn about ways we can reduce stress, covering handling, veterinary clinic set up and finally touching on appropriate use of anxiolytics.
