About this Lecture
About this Lecture
At the end of the presentation the participant will have the ability to evaluate diagnostic images for quality control by recognizing particular anatomy and the aspect of positioning. With the images provided the participant should be able to duplicate the concepts presented and be able to produce a diagnostic image. This discussion will present a three step approach to radiographic quality control and address the importance of executing them. This presentation will cover the most common radiographic exams that are performed in general veterinary practice are the thorax, abdomen, pelvis, stifle, and elbow. Of course, there are numerous other body parts that are radiographed such as the skull, spine, and the distal extremities but not as commonly.
