In this program, participants will learn important surgical techniques to the correct assessment of surgical eyelid disorders and execution of various eyelid surgical techniques. This discuss will begin with a brief review basic eyelid anatomy to aid the practitioner in understanding surgical approach to adnexal disease. We will discuss appropriate ocular instrumentation and suture material to ensure optimal wound healing. Using a case-based approach, presurgical patient evaluation to ensure appropriate surgical planning, will be emphasized. Use of video will help explain core concepts that are often missed in textbook reviews.
