About this Lecture
About this Lecture
Arterial thromboembolism is an acute, potentially catastrophic syndrome in cats, frequently found in association with heart disease – but also found with other conditions, including hyperthyroidism, sepsis and trauma, among others. This lecture will review the causes, clinical signs and treatment of cardiogenic aortic thromboembolism, using the most recent published literature, to provide important updates to our management protocols for these critical patients.
