Feline Arthritis: Under-recognised and under-treated?

Arthritis is a very common cause of chronic pain in cats of all ages, especially older cats, but it remains an under-recognised and under-treated problem. This lecture identifies practical and clinically expedient approaches to diagnosis and outlines the breadth of treatment options available, illustrating that an effective treatment plan is possible in all cases, even in the face of concurrent diseases such as chronic kidney disease which may be perceived as barriers to treatment.
