About this Lecture
About this Lecture
Emergency patients can require anaesthesia for a variety of reasons – from acute airway management, to emergency surgery for resolution of abdominal organ torsion or wound management, among a host of other reasons. However, the presence of shock, respiratory compromise, pain, and electrolyte and acid-base derangements, among other abnormalities, increases the risk of anaesthetic-related mortality significantly.
Watch our FREE on-demand webinar, where we delve into selecting appropriate anaesthetic protocols for emergency patients, stabilizing emergency patients requiring anaesthesia, and reducing risks to our patients.
