About this Lecture
This very interactive Journal Club will discuss some of the many interesting papers that DGM has had the privilege of working on over the last year or so. Depending on how the discussions go, I hope to cover our recent papers on Feline Dementia (aka Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome), including its diagnosis and management, plus a paper on the role that concurrent FIV may have; Feline Pancreatitis, its causes, recognition and management; Feline blood pressure monitoring – Doppler vs Oscillometric, does it matter; and FIP – discussing the newly available treatment options. If we get time, I will then cover the key take-home messages of other papers, covering Feline Genetics, Tuberculosis associated with feeding commercial raw food, and the role of Telemedicine for feline consults, and possibly others.
